First I have to climb some stairs in Athlone Court on Oak Bay Ave. I'm practicing my stair climbing every chance I get. I'll figure it out!I'm just crazy about Christmas lights. (Grandma too)

Close encounters of the Santa kind

I love to run around Hillside Mall.I can drive the Bee car in the play area.I can point at all the pretty lights.But now we're waiting in line for something.Whoa! Who's that guy?He's got a beard like Grandpa - but he's very strange! Take me away!That was terrible!

I see pumpkins left in someone's window.

Well, I'm just going to have to lift it!

Afterwords we went to Sydney for lunch and Mom bought me a portable radio. I got the beat!

In Hillside Mall

Today was a bit too rainy to enjoy the great outdoors so I spent some quality time in the playroom in Hillside Mall.

Big walker

I'm walking longer distances now - and not doing much crawling at all. This is me in the Rose Garden path at the Empress Hotel.

It's getting a bit chilly - but Gonzales beach is still pretty neat.The seaweed's a bit yucky though.My deadwood collection.Getting the sand all sorted out with my rake of power.

Still feeling ducky!

I do like ducks...they're not scary.
But sometimes they just want my bread:
Grandma likes ducks too!

In Beacon Hill Park

OK, ducks! Wild ducks!
But maybe I'll feed myself - not them!
Then I'll go for a swing.
And a slide.

A big surprise

Grandad was baby sitting me today. I was showing him how I clean the floor with my brush:And then I gave him a surprise:

I can walk! But only when I feel like it because crawling is still much faster.

Baby(?)sitting

Gams and Grandad were babysitting me today. They took my to Fisherman's wharf where we watched some people feed the seals. Then we went to a nearby playground where I inspected the facilities.

Some things I can do now:
• Laugh. Yes I have a real chuckle laugh.
• Squeal with joy when something makes me happy, like mum coming home.
• Stand up by myself for a few seconds.
• Take one or two steps without holding on to anything.

The Oak Bay car show - HOT!

Today we went to the Oak Bay car show - it was a very hot day, 31°C.Even Elvez was all shook up!That inspired me. So when we got back to Grandma and Grandad's house I decided to take my new walker for a spin.Grandad said it's good practice for when I'm 80. I wonder what that means.Ooops! My first crash. Where'd that coffee table come from?
Some new things I can do:
I can stand by myself for one or two seconds.
I can make new chirtling sounds that seems like I'm talking.
