We had a power failure so Dad and Granpa used a camp stove to cook lunch. Omelettes, and I think they burned one. Too stinky for me!

Every Christmas the Empress Hotel in Victoria displays trees decorated by various organizations. I found the important ones!

Big day Saturday

First we went to a new community centre at Gordon Head. This was my favourite toy:

I road a tricycle for the first time and figured out the pedals all by myself!

And when it got dark...the truck parade!
I wave to the police as the parade starts.

They're noisy trucks.

Every Tuesday morning I go to my class. Barb is my teacher, I really like her.

Big Day

Went for a walk around Swan Lake. But after all the rain we've had many of the trails were washed out.

Then we went to pick up Mummy after work and saw the Christmas light up in Oak Bay.

Yes those are dinosaurs!

Went downtown with Granpa...

...and watched a garbage truck do its pick up. Fun!

A rainy old Sunday

So Granpa and I went to Mayfair Mall.

It's been a rainy few days so I went to Tillicum Mall to visit with Bob the Builder.

Then I watched the real guys.

Pumpkin picking

We're at Galey's Farm to pick up some pumpkins for Halloween. First I ride the toy train.

Then we have to wait for the big train to take us to the pumpkin field. I don't like to wait.

Finally, here comes the train!

And Granpa has the tickets.

Let's go!

It's Firefighter's day in Esquimalt.

I had to use the control...

...to put out the fire.

Then I used the pincher to cut a bottle in half...just in case.

And then I showed the firefighter how to use the "Jaws of Life."

After a few lessons from officer Rosales I was on my own.

Then I went into this big long thing.

And came out the other end.
