This morning we babysat James who, very enthusiastically, sorted out the recipe box.

A trip to Goldstream Park

Today we took a trip to Goldstream Park to see the salmon jumping.

Come on! Let's go!

The salmon are hard to see in the water...until they make a splash.
With Mummy and Granma.
Hmmm, I wonder what's in here?
It's a tree house!

I didn't understand "dead."

The Truck Park

James' speech is just amazing. He can speak full and proper sentences and easily make himself understood. But it can be difficult to capture on video.
So off we went to The Truck Park - better known as Quimper Park.
And on the way back home - a rendition of Old MacDonald's Farm with a unique twist:

A visit to Galey Farms in Saanich

First we went to the petting place while we waited for the train to come.
Here comes the train! Let's get on.
All a-go!
I don't see what's so special...
Then we saw a deer chasing a dinosaur. Can you see it? Click on the picture to make it bigger.

Then we went through a scary town.
And saw a man on his potty. This is too strange.
So we took a tractor ride to the pumpkin patch.
Wow there's a lot of pumpkins here!

This looks like the right one.
We ended with some bouncy time. I was a bit afraid at first but soon got used to it.

At the Gorge in Vic West

Today we went to the Gorge where I saw an artist painting a picture. There were "escavaters" so we went for a closer look.
This is better but maybe we can go closer.
That's better.

A morning at Cadboro Bay

Hmmm, so many windows but nothing to see.
Have to wash the sand off my hand while keeping my boots dry.

Thanksgiving

First I had to preview my Halloween giraffe costume.
Then it was time for dinner. Yum, yum.
