A few activities with Granpa

Inspecting the clock at Mayfair Mall.
When it's raining we sometimes go into the toy store at Mayfair Mall where I can drive all the cars.
Today we also went looking for new parks to play in.
And we found a new beach.I see something different.A crab pincher.

In Beacon Hill Park

They're doing a lot of road work in the park. I like that!
I can help with my bulldozer.
I wonder where this goes?
I pressed the button to make the water spray. But I didn't get wet.
Then I fed the ducks.

The skater park in Vic West

I see all.
I run, then I fall down. It's funny.
WOW! That's what I'm going to do when I get bigger.

Tuesday and a new park

My first time at Carnarvon water park. It was overwhelming.
There was a spyglass for seeing things.
These are MY controls. Go away!
Now I control the controls.
That's a pretty big spider web.
And then it was lunch time. I mean goofy time.

Granpa note: If there's word that James does not know, he always asks for clarification. And of course everything gets referenced back to excavators that, in this case, scoop up the dirt.

A surprise

Today Granpa and I went to Vic West to see the "Mighty Machines."
But when we got back home for lunch there was a surprise waiting for us. I could see it clearly from my backseat in Jeepy.
A deer in the front yard!

Sunday at Willows Beach

Peek-a-boo, I see you!
Digging for gold.
I like to make castles and then smash them to pieces.
I found a stream of water and decided to walk in it.
Yes, I'm getting wet and covered in sand!
Granpa's note: This is very different for James. He is always very concerned about getting wet or dirty. For some reason, today he decided to get very wet and covered in sand. He really enjoyed himself...for awhile. When he realized what he'd done, he panicked and began crying. I consoled him as much as I could and assured him that we'd get back home as quickly as possible where we would get him sorted out.

At the BC Aviation Museum

Going in we were being watched by an aviator.
Whoa! That's a big helicopter!
That pilot looks a bit stiff.
Wow, there's a lot of controls in there.
Driving Miss Mummy.
The view from up here is great.
Me flying with my assistant.
Following the Museum mascot cat:
I'm a blur of activity.
This is how the controllers control.
What's that?
