Making a button

First you make the art.
Then Suzanne brings the button machine.
Then you put the art and button in.
And really scruntch it. That's the part I like.
And then you have a button.
Can we do another one?

Victoria Day holiday

Today was Victoria Day so everything was closed. Granpa took me to some parks.

This park in Esquimalt had a telescope (too high up for me though). And a yellow vroom vroom.
Across the road was another park that had a thing. And a tug boat. All aboard! Hmmm, seems stuck.
Then we went downtown and listened to a band play. Too loud for me!

This is my art class: For some reason I decided to be left-handed today. Time to wash up.

Arty Me

Learning all about "artist eyes" and "artist hands" before we go to see some art. I don't like this. Can we go? Not bad.

Dirteeeee!

Hmmmm, someone different in the art class. Not sure I like this. Hmmmm, finger painting. Dirteeee! But I'm OK with it.

Granpa: "How many apples James?"
James: "Two ones."
Granpa: "When did you last eat an apple?"
James: "A long long time ago last nignt." (This is James's way of referring to the past no matter how recent or long ago the event took place.)

I can cut with scissors just like a big boy. (Don't tell Mummy) That's art? I can do better!
